Day #716 (Tue., Dec 20, 2011) – Walking Backwards
I took Katie to the playground near Lochmere today. She played in the sandbox quite a bit and even made a new friend (see photo to the left). She also wanted to go and see all the construction trucks and equipment nearby.
This evening Katie put her toy drum on the tv stand and pulled her chair up to it and started drumming. She then took the drum over to her little table and wanted my wife and I to join her. For some reason she wants all three of us to join into activities together these days.
Katie has found a new game…walking backwards. She will say “walking backwards” as she does it.
12:18am and Katie is still up. We’ve tried about three times to put her to bed but no luck. She’s watching “Little Bear” right now…let’s hope that does the trick.
