Day #726 (Fri., Dec 30, 2011) – Katie’s First Bike Helmet
My wife took Katie out for a walk this morning so I could work on the baby doll crib. I managed to get quite a bit of the pieces of wood cut, but the battery to my circular saw died so I could not finish all the cuts. So I put the batteries in the charger and went upstairs to clean up the living room.
We got a bike helmet for Katie (see photo to the left) in the mail today. I thought she would not like to have it on her head but she actually seemed to like it. After we tried it out on her she kept putting it on and running around the living room with it. Perhaps she sees other kids outside enjoying biking around with their helmets on.
It looks like my wife’s laptop has finally died. We went over to Morgan’s place to order a new one. We thought that it would be around $700-$1000 for it…but it was only $400. Boy are the prices ever coming down with these things. I guess that all the SmartPhones and iPads are really cutting into the desktop and laptop market.
