Day #776 (Sat., Feb. 18, 2012) – Chicken In The Bag

I was on my bed this morning when Katie came in with her purple bag full of plastic farm animals. She was proudly displaying it around the house. She gave it to me and promptly ran to the living room and came back with a plastic chicken. When I opened the bag she plopped it in. “Chicken In The Bag” so to speak…

2012-02-18-Ballet-ShoesThe photo to the right shows some ballet slippers that my wife picked up at the consignment sale yesterday evening. They are one size up from the ones that Katie is currently wearing so we won’t need to worry about what to do when she outgrows her current slippers.

We had a Skype session with my mother this morning. She got to see my wife and Katie building a house for all her plastic farm animals out of wooden blocks.

I’m still recovering from the cold so I didn’t take Katie out to the park today. She seemed content to just play around the house.

My wife and I were commenting how much more patient Katie is when you are looking for things on YouTube via the television. It takes a while to find things via the search method and she used to get very impatient. I guess she realizes that things sometimes take time. This evening she kept asking for “Number Train” and “Shape Train”.
