Day #780 (Wed., Feb. 22, 2012) – Paint The Top Of The Bannister
Katie went out twice today…once in the morning and once in the afternoon. In the morning she went to the pond for about 40 minutes and then Katie said “Home” so Ramona brought her home. She stayed up for 2 hours after that but she wanted the comfort of home.
Katie slept from 1-4pm and when she got up she didn’t want to go out. After changing her and packing in the stroller she was happy so they went to feed the ducks.
After Ramona left my wife let Katie jump on the patio. Katie is still into painting like mad these days.
This evening I tended to Katie while she had a bath. I showed her what a rooster sounded like and she mimiced me…some cute.
This evening my wife had a headache so I attended to Katie. When I went to the kitchen to make her a lunch she managed to paint the top of the bannister with her paints (see photo to the left). What a mess.
Anyway, I got the lunch and some milk and we both went to the bedroom to watch “Little Bear Goblin Night”. She enjoyed picking the dried blueberries out of her cereal bowl the most.
Katie was out on the patio this afternoon and took two twigs to her crib so that she could play with them this evening. They were kind of sharp so I took them out of the crib when she was not looking. 9:35pm and she is in her bed quiet now. I’m going to bed…
9:37pm and I hear the sound of toys hitting the floor in Katie’s room. Oh oh…
9:55pm and guess who is up. She is extra hungry now and is devouring all in sight. She kept saying “strawberries” so I got her a dish and she devoured that. I then brought her another dish and she ate most of that as well… 10:42pm…time for another attempt at bed…

1) My wife went to bed early so I tended to Katie this evening.
