Day #787 (Wed., Feb. 29, 2012) – Tentative Offer
The photo to the right shows some of the books that my wife picked up for Katie at the Church Sale in downtown Cary a while back.
My wife met me in the parking lot after work today with Ramona and Katie. We transferred Katie to our car and Ramona drove my wife’s car home for the evening. We then drove out to see the house we liked in Chapel Hill.
The Real Estate Agent Chris met us there and showed us the inside of the house. It was in a lot better shape than we thought it would be. Katie loved it and would run around and laugh. When she got outside she had a great time organizing sticks and acorns. While we were driving out of the dead end street to see some other houses two deer jumped onto the road…kind of a sign as to what to expect…
Chris drove us to see a couple more houses but we pretty well had our minds made up. We love this house so while we were inside the third house we offered out the details of an offer on the first house we saw this evening. He is going to make an offer to the seller tomorrow. Katie might have a new home real soon…
Chris kept mentioning how he was going to pick up a hamburger at “The Loop” this evening on the way home. Don’t think I will ever forget that…
