Day #812 (Sun., Mar. 25, 2012) – Lowe’s Hand Cart

2012-03-25 - TilesMy wife and I bundled up Katie and took her to Lowe’s to check out the tiles, etc. that we plan to install in our new home. This was the first time that she got to sit in the baby seat in the “forward facing position”. Let’s hope that it will cut down on her car sickness problem.

We’ve decided upon an Almond Slate Finish tile (see photo to the left). Current plans are to get some grout and smooth it into the separations for a smooth finish.

While at Lowe’s we also picked up a hand cart made by CostCo. I have one of their collapsible ladders and love it. This cart can take on three separate configurations so it will be really great to lift and lug all our belongings to the storage unit.

I was hoping I could help “lift and lug” today but I messed my back up at Lowe’s somehow so I’m back on the sidelines again. I did help my wife put some racks into the storage area…but I was not a big help. I did manage to take care of Katie this afternoon so my wife could focus on the other stuff.

This evening Katie said: “The bird is singing a song. The bird is flying – I can’t reach it”.

WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
