Day #831 (Fri., Apr. 13, 2012) – Medals For Katie
This cold/flu thing still has its hold on me so I drove to the Dollar Store at lunchtime to pick up some cough drops. While there I got some toys for Katie. One of them, a series of plastic medals (see photo to the right), I gave to her this evening. When I come home and said “I have a present” she sure knows what those words mean…
Katie spread one of the neck ribbons from the medals out on the futon in the living room and said “I make a measure”. She is obviously referring to the tape measure that I use from time to time to measure things around the house.
Katie was in a very fussy mood this evening. After she had her #2 she was fine. It’s funny how irritable she gets.
I was trying to watch the hockey game this evening but Katie wanted to watch one of her shows. Our DVR is gradually getting filled up with all assortments of “Wow Wow Wuzzby”, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”, and her latest favorite “Team Umizoomi”. I think that she might have outgrown “Oswald” but we haven’t found it on the current selection of cable television shows so there is no way to test this theory out just yet.
