Day #866 (Fri., May 18, 2012) – Wedding Anniversary Dinner
Yesterday was our wedding anniversary but we thought it would be better to go out tonight…Friday…so my wife and I went to the “Top Of The Hill” restaurant in Chapel Hill this evening to celebrate. Our babysitter Ramona stayed late so she entertained Katie. Katie can be a bit of a challenge in restaurants these days so it was nice to be able to spend some time alone. You can see the view from the top of the restaurant in the photo to the right.
I crashed when we got home and was awaken to the sound of Katie screaming…10pm. My wife was having trouble putting her to bed and we found out, oh no, that her Rainforest Waterfall Soother is not working. The batteries are dead and my wife tells me that she will not go to bed with out it. So, I drove down to Harris-Teeter near highway #40 to get some C batteries. Good thing that it is open 24 hours…
This evening I put my Canada mitten on my hand and chased Katie around the house with it. When I went to the kitchen to make her a lunch she put it on her hand as well…I found this out when I returned. She is sitting next to me right now (11:13pm) with the mitten on one hand and munching on some cereal with the other. She is eating with her right hand so we are pretty sure that she is right-handed.
