Day #923 (Sat., July 14, 2012) – Green Natural Tickler
This morning my wife and I bundled up Katie and took her to the playground near the High School. Katie played on the various equipment at first but seemed to be more interested in walking the trails. I found a long naturally growing “stick” that had little green “leaves” growing on them (see photo to the left)…a green natural tickler if you will. I cut it off and took it back home for Katie. We enjoyed chasing each other around the house and tickling each other with it. Of course it ended up in the tent in the master bed…what a mess.
After the playground we ended up at Sam’s Club for some supplies. As we were checking out Katie spied a green helium balloon. I asked the cashier about it but she said that it was part of the decorations and not for sale. So much for that idea. I told my wife that I could stop off at the Dollar Store and pick one up for Katie but she was more interested in getting home.
