This morning Katie was on the master bed with me while I was working on my laptop. She put her hand over and tried to push the on/off button. I said “No” real loud (fearing that I would lose all my work) and she got scared and started to cry. I then explained to her why pushing that button was not a good idea…hopefully she will remember next time…
Katie slept for about 3 hours this afternoon…which is quite normal for her as of late. When she got up we bundled her up and took her to the Japanese Hibachi Grill on 15/501. We had never been there before but we love it. Great selection at a great price. A wonderful place to take your friends when they visit from out of town. We have our new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood.
On the way back home I dropped my wife and Katie off at a nearby park (see photo to the right) while I went to Trader Joe’s to get groceries. We tried taking Katie with us a while back and it was a bit of a disaster. She wants to run and roam and take everything off the shelves. Four packages of groceries for $177…ouch! At least I did get a lot of meat and cheese and nuts which could explain the price.
After stopping off at home to drop off the groceries I went to the park to pick up my wife and Katie. I brought along a little light sabre toy that I picked up at the Dollar Store a while back. When you push the button the sabre portion would light up and various sounds would emit. Katie enjoyed playing with it in the car as we drove home.
