Day #955 (Wed., Aug. 15, 2012) – Running Out Of Diapers
Take a look at the photo to the left. It is a photo of a musical turtle that Katie used to play with when she was a child. Well my wife dug it up out of some of the toys we had in the basement and Katie took to it. She loves to bring it into “the tent” on our bed and push the various buttons and make the sounds.
My wife took Katie to play with our neighbors children this evening. They have a toy kitchen arrangement that Katie loves to play with. She started off playing with the other kids but soon gravitated to the toy kitchen when she played by herself.
I had to go out to the Cary house this evening to fix the toilet cover (broken clean in two) and hose down the garage. My wife told me that she is running out of diapers (big shipment coming from Target tomorrow) so I had to stop off at Walgreens on the way there to pick up a small pack of #6. While there I picked up some WD-40 lubricant for Katie’s bubble machine. The gears have rusted solid…so I’m 50/50 on whether it will work to loosen them up.
8pm – My wife just called. She put the last diaper on Katie…hurry home soon…
When I got home Katie was still up. It was good to get to see her before she went to bed. She is becoming more and more attached to daddy…
