Day #1018 (Wed., Oct. 17, 2012) – The Oswald Tattoo

Katie was up 3 times in the middle of the night. She is still in pain so we are dealing with it as best we can.

This morning my wife took Katie to school. She didn’t eat breakfast but she did have a snack at school. When she got home she ate a full hot dog and my wife put her to bed without ibuprofin. After 20 minutes she woke up crying so my wife had to give her some ibuprofin. She then slept til 6pm.

When I got home this evening Katie was asleep…but she was soon up. She was groggy but did manage to smile and kid around a bit. She is definitely getting better.

Katie got an octopus tattoo (temporary of course) on her arm at school today. I was kidding her that it was a tattoo of Oswald.

2012-10-17 – Foam Boat

My wife had things to tend to this evening so I took care of Katie. For starters I gave her a special present of a foam boat that you had to assemble (see photo to the right). We were soon in the kitchen sink seeing how it would float. Katie was soon washing it and the counter and “making a mess”…but at least she was not crying.
