Day #1033 (Thu., Nov. 1, 2012) – The Game Of Clunk

Katie got up at 5am this morning. She was crying “Jaguar my costume”. No idea what this means…perhaps she was dreaming of something.

It was quite the successful party last night, and today is clean up day. Both my wife and I are quite tired but we are happy that so many people came and had fun. Hard to tally the total number but I would say that it was close to 15 adults and 10 children.

We were wondering what was happening to our Jack-O-Lantern. It was gradually disappearing as pieces kept going away. We found the culprit…take a look at the photo to the right… Hungry squirrel.

Katie’s schedule is all out of whack this evening due to last night so we decided to take a drive around town to see if there were any more Halloween decorations out. We started off at Meadowmont but there was not much to look at so we drove over to Southern Village. Katie enjoyed saying hi to the scarecrows that dotted the entrance to the shops. We also saw some of the decorations that were up on last Saturday night.

This evening Katie wanted to play on the master bed with the small pack of cards that she got at Halloween. She soon started to take the top card off the pack and throw it at my tummy. She then said that word “Clunk” and started to wave her arms and laugh. She did this again. Soon she was up on her feet jumping on the bed, waving her arms and laughing. I asked her who showed her this game and she said her friend Helen. So goes the game of “Clunk” I guess…
