The photo to the left shows the three new shelves which I put in the pantry. We will now be able to stock up on food on sale to save money.
My wife had some work to do so I took Katie to the park this morning. On the way there she wanted to see some “Painted Cows”…so we spent some time driving around and seeing them. While at the park we played some hide and seek and I pushed her in the swing. She loves to go high.
While at the park Katie also saw two older boys talking near the trees. She ran all the way over to see them…I guess what they were doing fascinated her. I’m not sure what they were doing…but they didn’t look like they were up to any good. It looked like they had candy and they had that “guilty look” on their faces. I sure hope that Katie doesn’t get fascinated with the bad kids as she gets older…best to stay away from them.
This evening we bundled Katie up and took her to Trader Joe’s for supplies. There is an Indian lady who works there who is always friendly to Katie when we bring her. She seems to always be working on Sunday evenings. Tonight she gave Katie some Mac & Cheese (her first)…in fact Katie had two samples. Katie didn’t like the spicy cider very much. She picked out some “alphabet cookies” before we left…
