Day #1041 (Fri., Nov. 9, 2012) – Rebecca’s First Day
While I was at WholeFoods yesterday I noticed some apple juice on the shelves. They used to sell a similar product at Trader Joe’s but it has been discontinued. Not from concentrate…check. In glass bottle…check. Organic…check. We’ll have to go back and get some for Katie when we are out of juice.
Today is the first day of our new babysitter Rebecca. She could have started yesterday but since my wife was taking a course we thought it better for her to start when she would be home to guide her.
Katie really took to Rebecca. There was no problem for her to follow her to the car when it came time to take her to the park. Rebecca took her back to her place so that she could see her cat. Rebecca also has a brother who has some animals…Katie will love that as well.
There was some “Laffy Taffy” in a bowl of candies at work. I thought that Katie might enjoy it so I brought it home for her. I didn’t give it to her til later in the evening so that it wouldn’t ruin her supper.
This evening I was watching the news in the living room and all of a sudden here comes Katie…with the blanket and pillow from the master bedroom. She likes to pretend that she is sleeping in the master bed, but why take this to the living room? I guess she wanted to prepare for future sleepovers?
