Day #1044 (Mon., Nov. 12, 2012) – An Evening With Grandma
Katie found a way to sit at the table (see photo to the left) via a “booster seat”.
Today was Nature Explorer Day at Katie’s preschool. I think today was the first time that it didn’t rain. Katie told us that her teacher said “No” to her today. It was hard to figure out what she was saying but it seems that it involved “sand”. The mind wanders…
My wife was busy this evening so I tended to Katie. Since we didn’t have the time to call my mother over the weekend I thought we would do a Skype session tonight. My mother got the chance to see Katie tuck all her animals in and turn the lights out. It seems that one of Katie’s favorite activities these days is “pretend sleeping”…either for her or her animals.
Towards the end of the Skype session Katie took her plastic black rat up to the computer monitor so that my mother could see her.
