Day #1051 (Mon., Nov. 19, 2012) – Popcorn
On the way to school Katie said: “my leg is hurting”. When my wife asked why she replied: “Because the squirrel needs to get me a doctor so that I can feel better”.
The photo to the right shows the “thank you” card that Katie made at school today. Noticeable omissions are mommy, daddy, and all the dogs (like Zack) she loves so much.
At class today Katie and her classmates made snacks. They will not be having a class on Wednesday so I guess you could say this was her Thanksgiving Day celebration. I guess she had a marshmallow as she asked me for some tonight. We didn’t have any, but we did have a bag of popcorn so I made her some…and she loved it. The salesman at Lowe’s gave her a bag of popcorn the other day so I guess she’s getting accustomed to it. We need to get out our hot air popcorn popper (if we can find it)…it will make a healthier version.
