Day #85 (Mon., Mar. 29, 2010) – Size #3 Diapers
I went to Target today to get some more diapers for little Katie. We have moved up to size #3. I got 10 packages, so that should last us for a while.
While at Target I saw a rattle that I think little Katie will like. It was on sale…cost under $2, and as I was to later find, it turned out to be a good buy. It is light enough that little Katie can hold it in her hands, and she seems to like the sound of the beads as they jiggle inside the bulbs. Here is a photo of it on the left.
Little Katie slept for quite a while in the swing this afternoon. She seems to be a bit subdued today…not sure why. We hope that she is not coming down with something…but she seems quite happy otherwise.
Little Katie really likes her toy caterpillar. I jiggle it overhead and gradually move it close to her. I think she likes the big bulging eyes. Once it is close to her I touch the head of the caterpillar to her head and hands and then lay it on top of her. She grabs it and hugs it. Little Katie has another new friend.
It seems that little Katie only “howls” with laughter at nighttime. Could it be the subdued lighting that exists at nighttime? Perhaps she is going to be a night person?
