Day #1134 (Sun., Feb. 10, 2013) – The “Snake Wagon”
My wife went to the big “second hand” show in Raleigh this morning to pick up stuff so I tended to Katie. Katie got up around 9:30am and the festivities soon began.
I started off by making an egg and some turkey bacon for Katie. She didn’t eat it…naturally…this seems to be her “norm” these days. Soon we were in the living room making towers out of the blocks. This evolved into a “snake wagon” so that she could house all her snakes and drag it around the living room. Next up was a series of colored boxes so that she could sort her animals via color (see photo to the right). We finished it off with a huge tower…even taller than she was.
I tried to put Katie to bed around noon but that was too early (in her mind…not mine). Back to the LazyBoy to watch some television. She wanted “Goblin Night” this time. I made her a hot dog and some broccoli, and as soon as the cartoon was over she went to bed. 1pm…and this time it took.
My wife got home around 2pm with lots of goods from the sale. Mostly clothes for Katie, but there were a few floor puzzles and a big bag of toy animals…which tend to be Katie’s favorite.
