Day #1151 (Wed., Feb. 27, 2013) – “Goodbye Home, Hello School, I Love School”

On the way to school this morning Katie sang a song for my wife “Goodbye home, hello school, I love school”. That’s a lot better than her saying that she hates school.

I guess that Katie had the teachers in stitches over her pronunciation of “Pekalins” (i.e.: Pelicans). My wife told me that she said “Pelicans” when she got home…so apparently she can pronounce it properly if she wants to.

I drove our tax documents out to the accountant in Cary at noon today. Time to get our “baby deductions” into gear.

Katie and my wife played outside this evening before I got home from work. She goes on the hill between us and our neighbors and picks up berries off a bush and feeds her leopards. They then went to Lucy’s place and Katie wanted to pick up every sort of figurine she could find.

Katie likes it when I build tall towers with her Duplo blocks (see photo to the right).
