Day #1165 (Wed., Mar. 13, 2013) – Plastic Tyrannosaurus Rex
Katie woke up early this morning so I went to tend to her. Not sure why she is not sleeping through the night these days…she used to be sleeping fine through the night…once we got her to bed that is. I was hoping that a sush (i.e.: pacifier) would do the trick, but she wanted to have warm milk and watch a bit of television. All the ruckus woke my wife up so she took over and I left for work.
This evening I gave Katie another “Special Present” that I picked up at the Dollar Store the other day. It was a plastic Tyrannosaurus Rex model that glows in the dark (see photo to the right). Katie is really into her dinosaurs this day so I thought she would like it. We assembled it and took it into a darkened bedroom to see how it glowed.
More excitement for Katie this evening with the UPS truck arrived. My wife had ordered a number of items from Amazon. Given the “poor quality” of the Dollar Store dart board that I gave Katie on Monday my wife ordered a magnetic version. On this one the magnetic darts are quite powerful, so it will work great for Katie. Also from Amazon was a series of sticker books that I saw online a few days ago. Katie really took to the Jungle Animals Sticker Book. We are going to give her the other ones at a later date.
