Day #1181 (Fri., Mar. 29, 2013) – Chocolate On The Pig
My wife had today off work as it is Good Friday. I didn’t have the day off so I went to work.
I gave Katie another “Special Present” from the Dollar Store when I got home from work…a set of sunglasses attached to a bunny mask (see photo to the left). She put it on and looked at herself in the mirror, but she was soon back to building a “beach”. I was telling my wife that those Dollar Store gifts are good for a unique treat and for getting Katie’s mind off something when she is fussy, but the novelty of them usually doesn’t last for long.
Katie wanted to know all about what I did at work. I told her how I drove the car to work and sat in a cubicle and typed into the computer and read books. She wanted to know what types of books I read.
Katie wanted to watch “Word World” this evening. The episode was about chasing a bunch of O’s around. One of them eventually worked it’s way up on top of a donut conveyor. When the pig jumped onto it to push it out of the way a chocolate dispensing machine put chocolate on top of the pig. For some reason Katie was fascinated with this. She kept asking my why chocolate was on the pig.
Katie wanted to build a beach in her bedroom this evening so we moved the “beach stuff” that she used to build a beach in the kitchen earlier in the day.
