Little Katie was having breakfast this morning and intermittently looking up at her mother and laughing. Looks like she takes these “growth spurts” of knowledge and recognition.
My wife wanted me to stop by a store today to get some summer hats for little Katie. They are closed on Mondays so I will have to come back later.
My wife was exhausted this evening…I guess little Katie only had short little naps all day. I took her for a long drive this evening to calm her down. It took about 30 minutes for her to fall asleep, and after about another 30 minutes I drove home. I took her out of the car…she was still sleeping. I took her upstairs…she was still sleeping. I took her to her room…she was still sleeping. I turned the air conditioner in her room off so she wouldn’t be cold…she was wide awake! Go figure. She started to fuss again, so back to the car for another 30 minute drive around the neighborhood. By the time we got home the baby was fussing again, but at least my wife got to have a 90+ minute sleep.
We got an Easter card in the mail from my brother-in-law’s mother (shown in the photo to the right). She mentioned: “Your mother keeps me up to date. You have a beautiful little girl and she will make Easter so much fun. I know the Easter bunny was visiting her”.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

1) Little Katie can sure be fussy when she wants to…
