Day #1212 (Mon., Apr. 29, 2013) – Acorn Decorations
This morning my wife set up a parent-teacher meeting with Katie’s teachers for noon on Wednesday. We are going to be discussing Katie’s performance.
As Katie was coming out of the elevator after preschool she ran into Ben and they both fell down. They both were upset…so much so that Katie didn’t hug May, a ritual she usually performs after hugging my wife.
I stopped off at WholeFoods this evening to pick up some goat’s milk (we usually get a whole box of 6 1/2 gallon cartons as you can see in the photo to the left) and a case of 4 large apple juice bottles as well. As I was driving home Lucy was coming up the road with Zach. Of course as soon as Zach saw me he made a “bee line” for our hour. Katie enjoyed seeing Zach again.
I played with Katie on the patio this evening. We collected acorn decorations for a party. After collecting them we roamed around the yard finding various places on trees and such to place them.
This evening my wife was having a hard time putting Katie to sleep. When she went to check on her in her bedroom after putting her to bed she was naked in her toy box. She said she was going to the beach but needed her cat, so she got up and got her toy cat. By 12:25am she was out…
