Day #1220 (Tue., May 7, 2013) – Gifts From Lithuania
The tomatoes are growing great. Take a look at the photo to the left.
My wife’s mother sent a care package from Lithuania for my wife and Katie today. Here’s what she sent us:
1) Books for Katie
2) Hair accessories for Katie
3) Cake serving set (decorated with amber)
4) Gnome for the garden
5) A birthday card for my wife
This evening I put a plush bunny into a pail and then Katie’s squishy on one of her toy pigs. I chased Katie around the house saying “come back here with my pig in a bucket”. She ran and squealed with delight. After running for a bit Katie wanted a time out for a banana muffin. My wife made them for Katie’s school tomorrow. After this snack we were back to play. Katie then had a break for a grape juice pack. Then more chasing… Then a pretend sleepover in Katie’s bed hiding from the “Mommy Monster”.
Later this evening Katie pretended to read a book. She said “In the morning the deer came and then mommy came and gave them milk. The end…”.
