Day #1235 (Wed., May 22, 2013) – Splash Day
Today is the last day of Katie’s preschool. They have dubbed it “Splash Day”…a day when all the kids come to school in bathing suits and splash around in water. They had an inflatable pool with a slide (see photo to the left), other pools to wade into, and passed out watermelon as snacks. Katie loved it. My wife accompanied her and helped out during the event.
I had to stop off at Trader Joe’s this evening to get Katie some hot dogs. They were out of them when I went shopping this past weekend. Katie sure loves her hot dogs…
I picked up my wife and Katie at Helen’s house this evening. Katie was upset that they didn’t ask her to go and feed the chickens. I’m wondering more and more if we don’t need to get some sort of a pet for her…
Katie and I shared some carrot cake this evening. Well, I had the carrot cake and Katie gorged on the icing…
