Day #1237 (Fri., May 24, 2013) – Katie The Cleaner
Katie has become a real helper around the house. She helped clean the windows in the living room today. The fact that most of the problem was created by her is immaterial… Check out the sticker/crayon creation in the photo to the right.
This evening I put larger screws into the hinges on the door in the hallway. The door was starting to fall off the old hinges because the screws were too short. These 2″ ones should do the trick.
Later this evening Katie and I watched “Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace” on television. She was fascinated with the part where the larger fish chases the submersible and asked me to repeat it again and again.
Katie eventually worked her way into scissor usage. The only problem is, she is too young to understand what can be cut and what cannot. We told her that she must ask mommy or daddy if she can cut something before she goes ahead and cuts it.
Katie promised this evening that she would not pee in her pants anymore. Well, that was not the case. Hopefully she is getting better in this area.
