Day #1252 (Sat., Jun 8, 2013) – Meeting The Neighbors
This morning my wife and I took Katie (with Zach in tow) to see our new neighbors. They have a 2 1/2 year old girl and a 6 month year old girl. They were not home but we left a paper with our phone numbers and email addresses on their front door.
In trying to put Katie to bed for her nap she made me draw some dogs in the activity book. You can see the result in the photo to the right.
We assembled the bed frame in the master bedroom. It has been quite the adventure as they sent us the wrong headboard, and after mamny phone calls and mishaps we finally received a new one. They didn’t ask for the old headboard so it now is being ustilized by the bed in bedroom #2. Katie wanted to help so we let her help us align the slats into the slots before we secured them in place.
As my wife was taking Zach home this evening they ran into the new neighbors. The lady of the house is originally from Poland. I guess Katie decided to “invite herself” into their house, with the 2 1/2 year old in tow.
Katie decided that she would make funny faces on daddy this evening. As we sat on the LazyBoy she would twist my face into various contortions and laugh and howl at the process.

1) Katie now has two new neighbor girls in the neighborhood to play with.
