Today was little Katie’s first stroller ride around the neighborhood in the semi-reclined position. She is getting heavier so it’s harder to carry her around in the harness.
On the way home this evening I picked up a couple of “Baby on Board” Signs for the back window of a car (see photo to the left). They have a suction cup that adheres them to the inside rear window of your car. It encourages the drivers behind you to drive safely as you are transporting valuable cargo. I got one for my car and one for my wife’s car.
Little Katie is getting more familiar with how the Rainforest Jumperoo works. I think she has figured out that if she jumps and jiggles the lights and sounds will come on.
My wife is working on a paper so I’m taking “double-duty” taking care of little Katie these days. I played the guitar for her again this evening. She loves music and the strumming of the guitar. I’m thinking that before long she will be able to use a rattle to keep rhythm while I strum. That will be her first introduction to playing a musical instrument.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
————————————
1) I think little Katie prefers the harness to the stroller…but she is getting too heavy to carry around via this method for long.
