My wife put the green soothie pacifier in the refrigerator today and little Katie really liked it (at least she didn’t spit it out like she usually does).
My wife and I have often commented on what a serious child we have. She seems to have this very serious investigative look on her most of the time. One of the few times this is not the case is when you pick her up in the crib after a good nap. She will look up at you and give you this broad smile that makes you melt…
There is this audio/visual book called “Take Your Turn” that little Katie really likes (see the photo to the left). It features Winnie the Pooh, and has only about 4 thick pages to it. What makes this book unique is that for each page there is a button you can push which will give you some audio. Little Katie really likes this book. Let me walk you through the process I had today…
Little Katie was sitting up on the bed with a blanket supporting her back. As I turned the pages she gave each page this serious investigative look that I mentioned above. Bubbles start to form in her mouth. As I play the audio for each page her little legs start to churn back and forth. Towards the end of the audio there are some sound effects, and little Katie seems to really like them as she will give you the tiniest of smiles.
