Day #1344 (Sun., Sept. 8, 2013) – Walking In The Hallway
Katie woke up in the middle of the night…she had a nightmare and came running into the master bedroom to relay it to me. Apparently the Green Goblin puts some brown stuff on her and it hurt. I cuddled with her and we watched a little television…problem solved.
I was making turkey bacon in the kitchen when Katie came rushing up to me. She struck a “Dramatic Pose” and said “We have a big problem…there is a spider in my bedroom”. When I went to the kitchen to get a paper towel she said that she would stay and guard it so that it would not get away.
My wife went for a nap this afternoon. Before she did she told Katie to not run in the hallway as it wakes her up. Katie understood and actually walked very quietly…at first…but then she was back to her galloping ways.
Oh joy! There are bugs crawling around on the garbage can (see photo to the left) in the front of our house. Of course Katie loves stuff like this.
Katie really enjoys the television show “Wow Wow Wuzzby” on the TiVo Series #2 we have set up in the master bedroom. I guess it brings back good memories for her. I’ve recorded a number of “Season Passes” on this TiVo now so Katie will have a whole new lineup of PBS cartoons for her.
