Day #1348 (Thu., Sept. 12, 2013) – Meeting Margaret’s Mom
I was going to go to Sam’s Club today to pick up some construction paper for Katie but my wife said to wait. She has some things from Target that she wants me to return for her.
My wife got the chance to meet our nanny Margaret’s mother today.
Look at the scary spider that crawled around the driveway at our place today (see photo to the right). Yeech!!!
I was talking to a guy at work whose daughter’s are enrolled in Irish Step Dancing. I guess there is a school in Raleigh and one in Cary…a bit far for us to travel to on a regular basis as we live in Chapel Hill. Anyway, he was saying that it gave his daughters a chance to do some travelling. I guess there is a big event coming up in Montreal soon. We were thinking that an activity like this would be great for Katie. It would allow her to burn off some of her “restless energy” and we all know how much she loves dancing. Some sorts of dancing, she really didn’t take to the ballet class we enrolled her in when we were in Cary. Perhaps it was because she was just a bit too young.
