Katie is still whiny and fussy today. What a relaxing weekend this has turned out to be…
I try to show artwork from Katie’s school from time-to-time on this blog. The photo to the right shows one such example.
For something different tonight I went to Moe’s to pick up a couple of Joey Bag Of Donut Burritos. One of the reasons that we like to go to Moe’s is that it is one of the few things that Katie will eat on an almost regular basis. This evening she gorged herself on the chicken. She also likes the olives and the wraps. I think I’m going to see about getting a side dish of chicken next time…just for Katie.
My wife was not feeling well this evening so Katie and I decided that we would clean up the place a bit. Well, I decided, Katie “tagged along”. First on the agenda was doing the dishes. Katie was very eager to help. When I asked her to start bringing me in dishes and silverware from the living room she did so dutifully…one item at a time. First a bowl, then a fork, then a spoon. She had a great time doing it as she ran to get each individual item.
Next on the agenda was cleaning up the living room. This was easier said than done. As soon as we had the animals all cleaned up off the floor Katie decided that she wanted to play with them so back they all went.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

1) Katie helped me clean the dishes…one at a time.
