Day #1365 (Sun., Sept. 29, 2013) – Packing A School Bag
I made buckwheat pancakes this morning (see photo to the left). Katie was real excited but in the end I found out she wanted the jam on the side more than the pancakes…
I put up Alfred’s new mailbox today. Took me longer than I thought it would, but the weather was nice. It looks nice…sure is good to get that done.
Tomorrow Katie needs to pack a bag with toys and take it to her school to show the kids. I guess it’s a “Show & Tell” of sorts. Katie started off by saying that she wanted to take giraffe’s, but soon all sorts of plastic animal toys went into the mix. In the end she picked up a plastic flower and put that in as well. It is sure going to be some interesting “Show & Tell”…it might go on for hours.
This evening I put the “Magic Bus” cartoon on for Katie…the one where the bus goes into the ocean and see various forms of plankton and such. Katie really took to it. She called it the “Show With The Creatures”. I was happy that she was interested in watching something different than Scooby-Doo.
