Day #1394 (Mon., Oct. 28, 2013) – Painted Nails
The photo to the left shows the little Haunted House Box that we picked up for Katie at the Dollar Store. We thought that this might be a nice box for her to store some of her toy animals in.
When I got home from work this evening I noticed that the witch pumpkin we had at the end of our driveway was a bit tired. So, I took out a skewer and propped it up. It appears that a carved pumpkin can only last a week…so we will need to carve it one week later next year.
Katie got her fingernails painted at school today.
Stephanie took Katie to the museum in Durham this afternoon but unfortunately it was closed.
Katie was in rare form yet again this evening. Can that girl ever whine and complain and cry when she wants to.
Katie has really taken to books as of late. Sometimes she wants you to read to her and sometimes she wants to read to you. When she reads to you it’s anyone’s guess as to what she will say as she is turning the page. I find that when I read to her she won’t let me read all the words on the page…that takes too long…so I end up making up stories as to what I think is happening as well.
