Day #1413 (Sat., Nov. 16, 2013) – The Cat Tree
The kittens have adjusted quite well to their new surroundings. When I got up they were running around the living room having fun and Katie was beside herself with glee.
The Cat Tree (see photo to the left) was delivered this afternoon and when my wife came and got me I decided that I would delay my mid-day nap. It is quite tall. We decided that we would let the kittens find and explore it on their own terms. Probably this evening as they looked quite tired by the time it was assembled and ready to go.
It was extremely hard to put Katie to bed this afternoon.
The cats let their curiosity get the better of them…they went after the cat tree with reckless abandon this evening. I think they especially like the very top stand as they will be out of the reach of an energetic 3 year old. Katie was playing with one of the dangling mice on the cat tree today and accidentally broke it off. No problem…we’ll staple it back…
