Day #1417 (Wed., Nov. 20, 2013) – Cat Throwing…
Katie wanted to take the day off school and go to the zoo. Apparently she wanted to see the elephants. We told her that we had to go to work today. She replied that school was her work.
The photo to the right shows Robin playing with the “snake” toy my wife bought him.
When I got home from work this evening Katie came up and gave me a hug. Then my wife told me what she was up to. She threw Robin across the room. When I asked her why she did that she replied “It was an accident”. I guess my wife had a long chat with her about how to care for cats and if she did not treat them nice we would have to return them (the very worst outcome in Katie’s eyes).
Batman got his first cricket this evening… Was he ever proud! Katie kept asking my wife to take that cricket away from Batman, but what was the point to take away half of it?
My wife played animal hospital with Katie. Katie would put an imaginary wrap around an animal and say: “ok, you stay here for 20 weeks until you get better”.
