Day #1425 (Thu., Nov. 28, 2013) – Thanksgiving Day
It’s been a hard night for daddy. I’ve been up since 3am tending to Katie. She has quite the fever and keeps asking for grape juice. When she is done drinking she talks and moans in her sleep from the discomfort she is feeling. At 5:30pm she said that if I would let her get up and eat and watch a bit of television she would go right back to bed. I agreed. She munched on some cereal, strawberries and a strawberry bar and went to bed around 7am. I’m beat…off to bed as well…
We spent most of the day relaxing and eating food and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and football on television. Katie doesn’t seem to be as interested in the parade this year…even when I pointed out the grumpy pilgrim man.
We did find another activity for Katie that she seems to love…finding YouTube videos on how to draw various things. Katie would go through her book and find something that she wanted to draw (i.e.: Moose, Caterpillar, Santa, etc.), I would find it on YouTube via our TiVo unit in the living room, draw it, and Katie would then proceed to find something else. You can see our drawing of Santa in the photo to the left.
Oh, Katie did try to give Robin a bath in the toilet as well…
