Day #1442 (Sun., Dec. 15, 2013) – Gabby’s Scooter
Our neighbor Gabby got a new scooter for her birthday and Alfred came over to see if Katie wanted to have a play date with her. Of course Katie was overjoyed. It is a yellow scooter with “Training Wheels” of sorts. Katie is not used to having anything unstable like this under her feet so it took a while for her to become accustomed to it. When I asked her about it she told me that Gabby taught her how to ride it.
The photo to the right shows the “Crayon Loom” that I created on the cardboard I mentioned in yesterday’s post. A pencil creates the holes. Put some crayons in the holes and use elastics to form the pattern. Voila.
This evening my wife and I took Katie around town to see some Christmas lights. Since this is a shorter Christmas Season due to the fact Thanksgiving was later in the month we wanted to take advantage of what time is left.
