Day #1446 (Thu., Dec. 19, 2013) – Jake Board Game (Xmas Day #2)
For tonight, the 2nd Day of Christmas, I decided that I would bring out the “Jake And The Neverland Pirates” Board Game (see photo to the left) I picked up at Five Below a while ago. I know that Katie is not into board games just yet, but it has a “pop up” dice contraption that I thought she would like and perhaps use that as a motivation to count and move her pieces around the board. Well, the fact that she was not into board games was reaffirmed this evening. She lost interest very quickly and was soon back to chasing the kittens.
My wife put the dress on Katie that she will be wearing to the concert tomorrow. We wanted to make sure that everything was going to be in order for tomorrow. Well, Katie liked the dress so much that she refused to take it off. In the end the only way we were able to persuade her was to find her another dress to change into. Such a girl…
