Day #1453 (Thu., Dec. 26, 2013) – Ginger The Dog
My wife sent me an email at work. I guess Katie found a magazine she wanted to read and she climbed up on a chair at the dining room table to read it…just like daddy does.
My wife is off work all this week. Today she took Katie next door to see Genevieve’s dog Ginger (see photo to the right). I guess she attacked Katie’s coat because it was “fur-like”. Katie was quite shocked and afraid… Genevieve’s mother is visiting but the dog won’t listen to her. She gets Katie to call for her and she comes running.
I stopped off at WholeFoods on the way home from work this evening to pick up some goat’s milk for Katie. I also picked up a biscuit that I thought she might like. Of course when Katie met me at the door she wanted a present. The biscuit didn’t quite seem to do it.
I went down to the bedroom to change as I normally do and when I came out Katie was in her bedroom crying. She said that I just left her in the kitchen. I didn’t even realize this was an issue. She is a sensitive child…at times…
