Day #1462 (Sat., Jan. 4, 2014) – Happy 4th Katie!
Today was Katie’s 4th birthday party. We were up early getting the place ready as the guests started to arrive at 10am. Stephanie came early to help out…which was greatly appreciated. We had a great selection of food (see photo to the left)
Matt, the “Shreader Guy”, showed up with his son and they gravitated right away to the train set I got for Katie at FiveBelow. He liked it so much that I gave him the extra set I picked up for parts.
The kids enjoyed playing the “fish game” and “build a fish” craft and people were amazed at the “sand” my wife made for the snacks (i.e.: vanilla cookies with oreo cookies). I met a lady whose sister-in-law is from Amherst.
The guest started to leave around noon. I showed Jui Lan the Chinese Course I picked up for Katie. Lucy could not make it to the party as she had to deal with the HVAC guy.
Daddy watched NFL “Wildcard” football for most of the afternoon and evening while Katie played with her toys.
