Day #1469 (Sat., Jan. 11, 2014) – Finding The Squirrel
The workmen came to do some work around the house today. They:
- Fixed the shelf over the fridge
- Fixed the trim over the closet doors in the bedroom
- Fixed the tile in the kitchen entry way
- Took out the microwave and made a shelf
While I was playing with Katie this afternoon we found her tiny Lego squirrel (see photo to the right). This was a big thing as we were looking for it. These things are so tiny they can go missing so fast.
Katie is into watching “Power Rangers” these days. This show was popular back in the early 90’s when I was in Australia. Kind of corny for adults but kids sure seem to love it.
My wife trimmed Katie’s hair today. This is effectively Katie’s First Haircut. She managed to do this without Katie knowing about it…to avoid any potential fuss…
