Day #1470 (Sun., Jan. 12, 2014) – Genevieve’s Shower
My wife went next door to attend Genevieve’s baby shower and I tended to Katie. When she walked out the door Katie was in bed and the hope was that she would sleep soon… That was not to be. She was soon up and about…
My wife gave Katie some more Legos this afternoon (with all the festivities we forgot to give her our birthday present). She has quite the collection now. The problem is, these parts are so small that they are easy to misplace and go missing (see photo to the right).
Katie was reading a book and making up the words this evening. She said “they all smashed the blood and made a big diarrhea”. Where does she get this stuff from?
You would think that when Katie doesn’t have a nap things will be easier in the evenings. Not having a nap means that she will go to bed early and sleep through the night? Right? No… As it turns out when she doesn’t have her nap she doesn’t sleep through the night either.
