Gabby’s parents dropped her off at the house today so Katie had an unexpected “Play Date”. At first Katie was kind of bossy so Gabby wanted to go home, but after a bit they started to play together quite well. They did manage to relocate the puzzle that was on her bedroom wall (see photo to the left). When Gabby’s parents came to pick her up Katie cried, as usual. She sure loves company.
I put up the paper towel holder under the cabinet next to the sink this evening. It works well…and is relatively out of the way now.
We are trying to figure out ways of taking Katie’s “Suche” away. My wife was planning on taking it away this weekend but we might need to do that in stages. First, she can’t have it when she is up. Second, take it away from her naps. Third, take it away for good.
I sat down with Katie this evening and asked her what she would like in exchange for her suche. She said she wanted a giraffe toy to be mommy to all her other toys. She then laughed and said “But I still want my suche though”.
