Day #1494 (Wed., Feb. 5, 2014) – Super Hero Swords & Shields
I went to the Dollar Store at noon today (see photo to the right). I saw some Super Hero inflatable sword & shields that I thought Katie would like. I talked to my wife about it and although we don’t like the idea of Katie having sword fights (even pretend ones) at least it’s not pink Barbies she will be playing with. It’s also a great way to burn off some energy before we put her to bed.
Also at the Dollar Store I got some Superman Puzzles. Katie might find those entertaining even though they are more for an adult. I also got a couple of large springs for the cats to play with.
We decided that we would give Katie the Super Hero Swords & Shields as a gift this weekend for giving up the suche. As such I gave her a Batman Puzzle. As it has 50 pieces my wife ended up assembling it for her.
All these late nights (or should I say early mornings) getting documents ready for the accountant are getting to me. I went to bed soon after dinner this evening. My wife said that she didn’t mind staying up as she is taking tomorrow off from work.
