Katie was very chatty at school today… My wife told me that she asked her teacher Mary why she didn’t have her jacket on.
I stopped off at Whole Foods on the way home from work. I picked up six 1/2 gallons of goat’s milk plus some organic pudding mix for Katie.
My wife sent me an email this afternoon saying that Katie was wondering if I would take her to YoPop this evening…so this is how today’s Daddy/Daughter Day evolved. She didn’t mention it when I got home but I figured I had better mention it to her. I didn’t want her to come to me around 11pm saying how I promised to take her to YoPop…such is her memory…
On the way to YoPop Katie and I made up some songs and sang them to each other. I told her that this made her a “composer”.
Katie wanted three flavors of frozen yogurt this evening: Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. I had her pick out the spoons as she likes to do that. This evening for some reason she chose the same color for both of us…neon green. I took some videos of her on my iPhone as she ate and talked. She thought this was hilarious and laughed and laughed.
The Lego Table that my wife ordered came at 10pm this evening (see photo to the right). I had gone to bed by that point so my wife assembled it. I guess the first thing she said when she saw the green table top was that it looked like grasslands and she could put all her grassland animals there.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
——————–
1) Katie learned what the word “composer” meant this evening.
