Katie and I had another Daddy/Daughter Day today. We started by going to Subway at noon. Since the one off MLK was too busy we went to the one near Moe’s in Durham. Katie ate a bit of the mini-pizza I bought but she loved the lemonade. As a result we had to make frequent potty stops during our outing.
The next stop was YoPop where Katie got her usual strawberry frozen yogurt. She didn’t want chocolate or even any gummy bears on this outing.
The next stop was the park where Katie got a lot of exercise running around. It was a beautiful sunny warm day. She wanted to show me the pool inside the main building but you have to pay to get in. I wonder who showed her? We spent quite a bit of time on the swings. Going up the slide rather than down it sucked up a lot more time.
When we got home I told Katie that I hid a special present for her under the towels in the main bathroom. She rushed inside to get it and found it no problem. It was a tube of baby farm animals (see photo to the right).
