Day #1535 (Tue., Mar. 18, 2014) – 1/2 Day Off Work
Stephanie cannot make it til this afternoon so I took the morning off from work. I found a cartoon about leprechauns for Katie to watch. We spent a lot of the morning in the 2nd bedroom. The initial idea was that we would go and play with Batman, who was sleeping there. He took one look at Katie and off under the bed he went. We then decided to have story time where Katie’s stuffed animals: Bunny, Sealy, & Teddy (see photo to the right) would join me in the audience. Katie enjoyed reading us stories. Sealy showed me a trick to get Katie to laugh. He would get closer and closer to Katie’s face til he was eye ball to eye ball with her. Katie would laugh and howl with delight.
Stephanie arrived at 12:30pm today and I went off to work. Katie didn’t want to see me go but Stephanie tried to calm her down and off I went.
