Day #1538 (Fri., Mar. 21, 2014) – Ginger Bites Katie

I dropped Katie off at school this morning in my wife’s car. I miss my Camry already. It was nice and spacious and my wife’s car doesn’t have any air conditioning and the window motor doesn’t work properly. Oh well, at least it did its purpose and took Katie to school no problem.

I noticed that as soon as Katie walked into the classroom she walked past a bunch of children, picked up a book on the bookshelf, and sat down to read it. She can be such a loner at some times. At other times she will cry that she doesn’t have anyone to play with. I guess today was the former.

2014-03-21 - Shed HolesThe guys came out and started work on the shed in our back yard. You can see the holes they dug in the photo to the left. I guess these holes need to be inspected before they can do further work.

I picked up Moe’s on the way home from work this evening. The guy at the checkout forgot to give me a discount but he did give me two free drinks. I picked up a lemonade for Katie…she seems to really like it.

When I got home this evening there was a big drama. Ginger, the labradoodle next door, bit Katie. She’s such a young puppy that I’m sure it was just her way of playing, but Katie was upset none-the-less. There might be a silver lining to this incident…it will show Katie that dogs can bite and she needs to be careful around them.
